The first weekend in October is WoolFest in Taos. Much of Kit Carson Park is warmed by wool and fiber. Sheep, alpaca, and other animals are sheared so the kids can see. Craftspeople from many places come to show their wares. Serious knitters and hobbyists come to purchase 30 gallon bags of raw wool. It's a colorful, wonderful event. Following are some photos with far less explanation!
