Tierra Amarilla, NM
This tiny town is actually the county seat of Rio Arriba County in New Mexico. The town has a rather storied past. It was a trading post for the Navajo, a staging area of Indian raids, and the site of a violent uprising. This photo was taken near the abandoned Jose Martinez Mercantile Building which was condemned, but is now being restored.
