Coal Cart

Not quite so linear as the previous posts in this little "series." In fact, circular. These wheels were made by the Joshua Hendy Iron Works in San Francisco. Hendy was an interesting guy and the company has a more than 90 year history from 1850 to the late 1940's. It started with the gold rush in California and I assume these mining carts were used for coal near Cimarron.
