Anegada, BVI - Conch IslandsPosted by Pixadilly (Anegada, Virgin Islands, British) on 7 December 2007 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Since the time of the Arawak Indians, conch fishermen have been stacking empty shells --- this pile a few hundred yards from shore. Birds find it a safe haven, a place to spread their wings in the sun.
